Grouting between wall-tiles, particularly in damp areas like bathrooms, will become
dirty and stained as a result of mould and lime scale. Equally when such areas are
being cleaned, the cleaning water (containing dirt originating from the wall or the
floor) will gradually be deposited on the joints between the tiles. The grouting
will become dirty and difficult to clean. BEL Tile Grout Anti Mould & Mildew has
been developed to provide a long-lasting solution, helping to keep tile grouting
clean.
Existing Grouted Areas:
The grouting should be clean and dry prior to treatment. For this reason, first
clean the grouting thoroughly, using “BEL Wash, MSR” . After cleaning, rinse all
joints well with clean water and allow 24 hours for the area to dry. Sufficient
time should be allowed for new grouting to dry and to harden.
Joints in the floors of bathrooms and kitchens:
- Apply the TGAMM with a brush on original grouting to allow coating to form.
- Allow to dry for 2 hours.
- The treatment should be repeated once, so obtaining optimal protection.
- Excess fluid can be simply removed, using a cloth.
- After 24 to 36 hours, the treated surface can be cleaned in the normal manner.
- For floor grouting, the floor can be used after approx. 3 hours.
- Floors in showers can be used after approximately 8 hours.
New Grouting of Tiling & Re-Tiling
- Add BEL Tile Grout AMM to grout mix to make the grout resistant to attack from mould
& mildew.
- 20 ml of TGAMM to be added to each litre of grout mix.
